christ blessing

Jesus Christ is the head of our church.  Jesus Christ, is the Only Son of God.  He is wholly God and wholly man.

We discern the will of God for us and our church in three ways.  First we read and study Holy Scripture, as found in the Old and New Testaments.  Second, we follow Holy Tradition: that which has been taught by all Christians, from the Apostles to the present day and in every part of the world.  Third, we pray individually, in small groups and as a whole church.

Our Rector (pastor) is the Reverend Howard R. Giles III.  He is our priest, in charge of teaching, preaching and leading us in worship and the prayers.  Jesus is the great High Priest, and any priest or pastor only receives authority from Him.

"But on some points I have written to you very boldly by way of reminder, because of the grace given me by God to be a minister of Christ Jesus to the Gentiles in the priestly service of the gospel of God, so that the offering of the Gentiles may be acceptable, sanctified by the Holy Spirit" (Rom. 15:15-16).
