We are members of the Anglican Communion Worldwide, the Anglican Province of the Southern Cone, the Diocese of San Joaquin and most importantly, the Body of Christ in Manteca, California. We come together every Sunday morning to celebrate the Resurrection of Our Lord Jesus Christ, who rose from the dead on Sunday, the first day of the week.
Our Sunday morning worship includes the Word of God, where we hear the Holy Scriptures read and a sermon preached on those readings. We ask forgiveness for our sins, since everyone has sin, and then we pray for ourselves, each other and the world. After the Word of God, we celebrate Holy Communion. Jesus commanded His followers to share bread and wine, which He tells us is His body and His blood! In this way we share one Body, the Body of Christ!
We serve each other by studying Holy Scripture in Bible Studies throughout the week and by participating in prayer groups. We serve the community of Manteca by hosting Alcoholics Anonymous meetings, by hosting the Bread of Life food bank every Tuesday, by supporting missionaries and in many other ways.
Please join us in serving the Kingdom of God!
